Wood Mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) WM109
The Wood Mouse is a common and widespread species found across most of Europe. They inhabit forests, fields and grasslands, often moving into buildings during cold weather. They do not hibernate but can go into a torpor during severe weather in order to conserve energy.
